AYSO Region 137 Logo Contest
Do you have graphic design skills or know someone who does? Your AYSO region could put your talent to use with our logo contest. We're asking our local community to help design our new region logo. It should be representative of our region and incorporate the following:
* The AYSO Region 137 wordmark somewhere in the logo design
The entry with the best submission (to be voted on by our board of directors) will win free sweatshirts for every player on the team or a pizza party for the team.
You should submit your logo entry by uploading it to our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/AYSORegion137 or emailing it to our webmaster at
. With your submission, be sure to include your name, phone number, email address and the team division number your entry is for.
If possible before submitting your entry, please convert your images to an acceptable digital image format such as .JPG or .GIF formats. We accept .PSD files as well.
This contest will end on Opening Day, August 23rd, 2014. The winner will be announced later after the next regularly scheduled board meeting.
We're looking forward to seeing all of the creative logos our community can come up with!
Our official registration dates have ended, but we are still registering based on the availability of spaces in each division. The fee is $105 per player and sibling discounts still apply.
Fees need to be paid by credit card or EXACT cash. NO checks will be accepted. Please email the registrar to inquire about openings. In your email, you will need to supply the player's gender and date of birth.
Registration will be closed after September 30th.
April 5th - 9AM to 2 PM
April 16th - 6 PM to 8 PM
May 3rd - 9 AM to 2 PM
May 20th - 6 PM to 8 PM
June 4th - 6 PM to 9 PM
June 14th - 9 AM to 2 PM
$85 per player if you register on April 5th and April 16th.
$90 per player if you register on May 3rd and May 20th.
$95 per player if you register on June 4th and June 14th.
Any registered players after June 14th will pay the rate of $105 per player.
We are still giving the $5 sibling discount per registered player. We are accepting check, credit cards and cash (in exact amount) ONLY.
Registration includes uniform, base picture package with group and individual portraits and accidental insurance.
To make the registration process easier, we recommend that you pre-register your child with an online application through https://www.eayso.org beforehand. You will still need to print out the completed form and make your payment at any of our registration events to complete your registration with our region for the fall season.
VIP (Special Needs Children & Adults) Registration - $45
VIP Program is still accepting players. This program is for players with mental/physical disabilities.
Registration is open for children who turn 4-18 as of July 31, 2014.
All registrations will be done at the AYSO trailer at Valley Wide behind the tennis courts.

The season will start after the Labor Day holiday with the intention of having the season and Regional tournament completed before Thanksgiving. The season will start on September 6, 2014.
Volunteer coaches are needed. Without coaches we're unable to form teams and your child may not have the opportunity to play. Training, certification and coaching equipment is provided for free. Please email the Regional Coach Administrator for more information or to sign up. Thank you.
- * No refund requests will be honored after season start date of September 6, 2014.
* A full refund will be made if the player has not attended any practices
- * A refund minus $17.50 will be made if the player has attended one practice/team meeting and has not received the uniform or has returned it in its entirety.

3 v 3 TOURNAMENT
PLEASE JOIN US LABOR DAY WEEKEND!
DATE: August 30, 31, and September 1, 2014 Saturday, Sunday & Monday
TIME: All Day (Game Times TBA)
TEAMS: 3-5 players from your AYSO Fall Roster teams. Girls and boys from the U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19 divisions are all invited. Each Fall team may send more than one 3 v 3 team.
COST: $40.00 per tournament team
WHERE: Valley Wide Fields - San Jacinto

PLAY: Each team will play a minimum of 5 games (based on number of teams registered per division). Pool play to be spread out over Saturday and Sunday. Medal rounds will be Monday.
Length of games:
U8 – 20 minutes per game (10 minutes halves)
U10 and up – 30 minutes per game (15 minute halves)

The following referee courses will be offered for new referees. These courses will teach you the fundamentals and will give you the proper skill sets to effectively officiate a soccer game. Teams in the U10 division and higher must have a total of 30 referee points by the end of the season in order to advance to the tournament. Only certified referees will be able to earn ref points for a given team.
**IMPORTANT: Only one Regional Referee course will be offered for this upcoming Spring Select season. Each spring select team must have qualified referees or risk forfeiture of a game. This course will be held on February 15th from 8 AM to 5 PM.
We will be offering only one U8 Referee Course. This course will allow you to ref U6 and U8 divisional games.
August 2nd from 11 AM to 5 PM
The following courses are for Regional Referee certifications (entry-level referees). All courses will be held at Valley Wide in the AYSO trailer. If you are interested, please email our Referee Administrator, Chris Burden, to pre-register. If you don't have time to pre-register, you may also show up on the day courses are offered to attend as well.
August 12th from 6 PM to 10 PM and August 14th from 6 PM to 10 PM (You must attend both half day courses in order to take the test)
August 16th from 8 AM to 5 PM
September 14th from 8 AM to 5 PM
September 21st from 8 AM to 5 PM
Lunch will be provided on the all-day weekend courses which lasts roughly 8-9 hours.
Important Dates - Coach Clinics and Coaches Meetings
Soccer season will soon be upon us again. Thank you to our new and returning coaches for volunteering your time with taking on a team this season. In order to provide you with the best information, you must attend these coach clinics and mandatory coaches meetings for your division.
If you are not certified to coach in your division, the following coach clinics will be available for you to obtain your certification. All clinics will be held at Valley Wide at the AYSO trailer unless otherwise specified.
Coach clinics are as follows:
August 2nd from 8 AM to 11 AM - U6/U8 Coaches
August 7th from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM - U10 Coaches
August 9th from 8 AM to 3 PM - U12 Coaches
You must attend the coaches meeting for your division on the specified date/time.

No Parking In The Red Zone
Parking is NOT allowed in the red zone. It should be used for pick ups and drop offs only and should not exceed 5 minutes. If a vehicle is parked in the red zone, the police will be called to issue tickets and your vehicle may be towed.
